Hiking in the Verzasca Valley
On Wednesday afternoon there will be an organized hiking down the scenic Verzasca Valley (map).The Verzasca Valley is a long narrow valley, which offers a fascinating landscape along the river. The "sentierone" is renowned for its wild beauty and green water (which gave the valley its name), and also for the numerous witnesses to a past rich in arts and crafts. The "Ponti dei salti" in Lavertezzo, for example, originated in the Middle Ages and is one of the best places to admire the emerald green waters flowing past bizarrely shaped rocks.
Good walking shoes as well as hat and sun glasses are recommended for this trip.
We offer two hiking tours: a) a short one from Lavertezzo to Corippo and b) a longer one from Ganne to Corippo.

We will spend the evening at the holiday resort Albergo Losone where we will savor of a rich Ticino buffet.
