Accommodation and Travel

The conference takes place in the center of external pageArosacall_made at the external pageWaldhotel Nationalcall_made. 

We recommend to use public transportation to get to Arosa. Information on train departures and arrivals is given by the external pageSBB online timetablecall_made.

At Chur you have to change to the Rhätische Bahn (RhB), which will bring you in 60 minutes to Arosa.

You have to purchase your ticket from your place to Arosa.
NEW: Please arrange for re-imbursement with your research group.

The hotel is at 10 minutes walking distance from the station (external pagemapcall_made).

If you decide to go by car, a narrow winding road will take you from Chur in 45 minutes 1320 m up to Arosa. Information about external pagetrafficcall_made and external pageroad conditionscall_made is found in the Internet. About parking, please contact the hotel.

You have to check in at the hotel reception. All participants are registered and a list of roommates will be published here. Please be aware that this list may change until the beginning of the conference.

Meals are served in the hotel, on the basis of half board arrangement, including a lunch packet on Tuesday (WS),Thursday and Friday. Please let the conference organization know if you prefer vegetarian food ().
