We warmly welcome the new and the experienced female faces in the QSIT network and we are happy to inform you about the start of a new endeavour:

QSIT Women Networking!

What?

A community of women scientists that meets regularly, supported by the QSIT network and open to all women researchers.

For those of you who are wondering how it works: generally a small group of scientists in physics and other related research fields ("the more the merrier") meets over lunch (and maybe also a coffee!) to discuss both academic and non-academic issues in a relaxed setting!

Why?
To sit together informally, meet each other, build a strong network, to share information and experience on how to navigate through a scientific career, to share success and failure stories, to increase awareness of gender issues and stereotypes.

When?
Once a month, at the alumni lounge, for lunch or after work.

Next Meeting:
Wednesday, February 22nd at 12:00pm
Where: At the entrance of HIT
From there we will decide where we want to head up for lunch: Food Market (Physics), Fusion Meal (Chemistry), Woka or Alumni Lounge.

This event is open to all women researchers!! Bring your friends along, even if they are not within QSIT, the more the merrier!

We hope to see many of you soon!
Aline Ramires & Chiara Decaroli
